The CBA Request Information System (CRIS) is used to submit CBA Requests, as well as monitor, track, and follow-up on CBA Requests. A user ID and password are required to access this CDC-sponsored web application at www.cdc.gov/hiv/topics/cba/index.htm

CDC continues to provide funds to organizations to assist in building capacity of funded grantees (including state and local health departments and community-based organizations) in implementing HIV prevention programs.  

The CBA/NNPTC Services Directory was designed for use by partner organizations of the Capacity Building Branch (CBB) of the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention and of the Program and Training Branch (PTB) of the Division of STD Prevention. It serves as a compilation of HIV/STD prevention resources and training activities. For more information, please download the directory.

CBA Program Announcement: PS09-906

"Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) to improve the Delivery and Effectiveness of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Prevention Services for High-risk and/or Racial/Ethnic Minority Populations," focuses on providing funding to improve the capacity of individuals, organizations, and communities in the delivery and effectiveness of evidence-based interventions and core public health strategies for HIV prevention.
