CDC's Procedural Guidance for CBOs (April 2006)

The CDC's Procedural Guidance for CBOs was updated and revised in April 2006 and again in January 2008. The Procedural Guidance gives information to help CBOs come up with a plan for delivering interventions. The Guidance has information on each DEBI project intervention and how to make the interventions work for your CBO (adaptation). It also contains information on other HIV prevention activities, services, and strategies, such as Rapid HIV Testing and Comprehensive Risk Counseling and Services. Advancing HIV Prevention

CDC's initiative, Advancing HIV Prevention: New Strategies for a Changing Epidemic, is aimed at reducing barriers to early diagnosis of HIV infection and increasing access to quality medical care, treatment, and ongoing prevention services for those diagnosed with HIV.

  • The Replicating Effective Programs Plus (REP+) web site is sponsored by the CDC's Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP).
